Smythe & Associates was formed as a California brokerage in 1978 and has since been financing the development or expansion of major investment projects in the mining industry (such as the purchase or replacement of mining equipment) and in the oil and gas industry such as pipelines and refineries. Smythe & Associates handled the development of a large oil industry project. This included a crude oil pipeline and refinery which was financed for approximately $18 billion US dollars. Another example, the purchase of a large internet gaming company located in London, England, was financed for over $800 million. The development of a chain of fast food restaurants here in the United States was also one of Smythe & Associates’ financing projects.

Requests for the financing of expansion projects or development projects in any industry worldwide are welcomed. Loans ranging from approximately $100 million to $1 billion and higher have been the norm. Interest rates can be as low as 4% with attractive loan terms up to 20 or 30 years.

Smythe & Associates charges a fee for the financing with no front-end money. The fee is paid from the loan proceeds so if the financing does not fund successfully, there is no fee.
